Nighthawks, one of my favorite photoblogs, provides a collage of people you meet in typical (North American) coffee shops. Very well taken. is the top left of American football, on-respecting Mitzwanziger nice car, next to the single-minded, lively student who is in her second year of graduate school, middle left is a freelance journalist, right next to it is the non-defined type. Stereotypes are great. But with exactly such people I made anywhere in the various coffee shops, whether in Nashville, Arkansas, Boston or Washington. Especially in DC, thanks to the Eternal Recurrence . (Oh sorry, that was an insider reference).
The collage would look quite different, there were German coffee house goers. A coffee bar suitable for such a collage would be the Aromakaffeebar in the Pestalozzi Street. The space in the background would be narrower and more crowded, the upper left-man would certainly not baseball cap on. The other fit any more, but I could not make the distinction. The woman might have less "attitude". Ideas? Comments?
